What We Offer the Children on Sundays

One thing that you will notice quickly at Grace is that we are blessed with many children in our midst. Because of the growth in young families, we have several options for parents with children during our worship service. For those with very young children, under 3, we have a nursery in the downstairs that is staffed by a minimum of two nursery workers. This nursery care is for the entire services.

We also have a 3 through 6 year olds class (the Lambs) that meets next door at the vestry. These children begin worship with their family in the sanctuary, but after the children’s message they head next door for age appropriate teaching.

We also have a children’s church for all children ages 7 through 5th grade. This class departs the service after the children’s message for age appropriate teaching and ministry to these children.

We also encourage our middle school children to pick up a copy of our weekly sermon page on their way into worship. These packets are designed to help the middle school age children learn how to listen to and understand the message.

The purpose of all our Sunday morning children’s offerings is to help our children grow in their walk with God. Even our nursery has weekly teaching to instruct our children. Even with all these offerings, parents are also welcome, if they choose, to keep their children with them throughout the service.
