New Grace Notes

Dear Grace Family:

Greetings and blessings to you all! I hope and pray each of you is enjoying the grace and mercy of the Lord on this fine day. We have several important announcements this week. February is moving along with all of the Super Bowl hype and the fast approach of Valentine’s Day with school vacation. I hope you make time to join us for some of these Grace Events!

First from the Youth Group: (Special Thanks to Suze’ for getting this out earlier in the week)

Hi everyone!
This Sunday 2/7/10 Youth Group will be meeting at church at 4:00. From there we will carpool to the ice rink near the Fitzgerald’s home. We will be playing hockey. Please bring ice skates and a hockey stick. If needed you may be able to borrow these items at the rink. If the ice is not good, we will be playing at Mrs. Fitzgerald’s work, in the gym. After energenic games of hockey we will be going over to the Fitzgerald’s home for a cheese enchilladas dinner, and to watch the Super Bowl. Nonfootball fans may play games in the dinning room, or play outside with Silas in the snow [bring snow clothes if this is your option]. We will be done at half time. Please do come!
See you! Mrs. Fitzgerald

other items to bring as dinner contribution:
Williamson’s – cookies
Pearson – medium jar of hot salsa
Earle’s – bag of tortilla chips
Selmon’s – another bag of tortilla chips
Peter and Emily – two cans a black beans

Second from the Youth Group:

We want to serve you! Please plan to join us for a Valentine’s Evening special meal! This is open to all, but we particularly encourage those fellows who cannot think of what to do on Valentine’s Day that this event is a perfect answer to your great need! Join us for a wonderful meal, great fellowship, and a way to help meet the needs of those in Haiti. (All proceeds will go to a Haiti mission). Dinner includes:

Salad and Soup
Chicken or Pasta
Bread Sticks
Various Side Dishes
Several Fabulous Desserts.

There will also be a silent auction for a $25 Olive Garden Gift Certificate, and Roses that can be purchased $3 each or 2 for $5 (another thought toward those who forget to buy flowers!). Again, all proceeds go to support a Haiti Mission.

Third, from the Men’s Ministry:

Ice Fish Extravaganza!! February 20th at George’s Pond in Holden. Come join us for this family adventure of ice fishing, games, and cold fellowship (actually the fellowship is warm but the ice is a bit nippy). See Eric Jamison if you can assist in any way with the great Grace Activity!

Have a blessed week!

Pastor Greg
