Web Browsers

For those of you using Internet Explorer 6 and 7, this site may not look like it is supposed to. Microsoft has not been very good at adhering to industry standards for the web. As a result, many sites look “funny” in their browsers. Version 8 does a better job, but still is not perfect.

I have tested this site under Firefox, Chrome, Opera and Safari with no issues. I recommend using any one of those for browsing the web and do not recommend any of the Internet Explorer versions.

I am sure that you have now heard that Google is soon stopping support for IE6 in their services. Good riddance!

Now if only youtube is successful in driving large scale adoption of html5 native video. That would put another nail in the coffin of flash embedded virii and spyware.
