Galatians 1:1-10

1. What is your message? What do you believe?
1. We all have one. Most do not know what it is.
2. What we believe always impacts how we act.
2. Paul and the Galatian Church
1. Loved, but now turning from the message.
1. People doubted the messenger
2. Jesus was sent to rescue us from our present evil age.
1. Gospel cuts off worldliness at the knees.
3. Vision of God had changed? How do we live?
3. The reason for the letter
4. A different gospel – a different Christ.
1. Vision of God thing again.
5. Deceivers (perhaps well intentioned) were leading people astray.
1. How does this happen?
6. Paul condemns anyone who teaches against the truth of the gospel.
1. We must know this truth and study the original.
7. The real gospel goes against “the teaching of men”
1. Different root
2. Different goal
3. Different means
