Galatians 4:1-7

  1. PETA “KFC hurts Chicks”
    1. We all believe and support something. Often it is just misguided.
    2. This passage: All of us have this condition. Gal 4:3, Gal 4:8-11
  2. God’s plan unfolding vss. 4-5
    1. There is one plan. God is not surprised.
    2. Old Testament and New Testament witness to God’s plan for all peoples.
    3. Born under the law. What law?
      1. Law of God in creation. All have it.
  3. What does this mean for me? vss. 6-7
    1. To those who believe: The gift of Sonship
      1. Full rights of sons! The gift of the Spirit!
    2. To those who do not believe: You get what you want. You do not really want God or His Son, so He honors you.
      1. Morality without relationship
    3. To those who believe in Christ, but do not know freedom and joy: you have the Spirit. He is calling you deeper.
      1. Give up the worthless principles vss. 8-10
      2. Give up the religion without relationship
