2 Corinthians 9:6-15

  1. Three things never to talk about: Money, Politics and Religion
    1. Two months of “Economic Crisis” talk
    2. Time to be reminded/instructed on God’s perspective
      1. Jesus talked more about money than anything else!
  2. Context: Corinth and their giving
    1. Giving is an expression of their heart.
    2. What would your checkbook tell us?
  3. We are created for good works vss. 8-10
    1. God uses all that we have.
    2. God also uses our financial resources vss. 6-7
      1. He supplies our resources!
    3. We are conduits of God’s grace vs. 9
  4. Giving results in:
    1. Growth in our harvest of righteousness
    2. Thanksgiving to flow to God
    3. A witness to the reality of God’s work in our lives.
    4. God’s working to supply our needs abundantly so we can bless others abundantly.
