1. In our own lives: If God is good and all-powerful, why would He let these things happen?

2. Easter and Evil:
1. Jesus and Evil before the crucifixion (Luke 22:42-44, Mark 14:33-34)
1. He had a sense of impending doom! He really dealt with evil!
2. Jesus on the Cross (Matthew 27:46)
1. “Why have you forsaken me?
2. This is a relational statement
3. Christianity is the only religion that directly deals with Evil: does not negate it, lessen it, or cheapen it.
3. Luke 19:45-48 Why did he do this?
1. Prayer is the key to our relationship with God.
2. Yet, we make religion about everything but prayer! We want to kill/hurt anyone who changes this!
4. God wants our hearts. He wants true life for us! Where are you in your relationship with God?
